The Andhra Medical College has over 34 Departments and each of these Departments are equipped with relevant facilities for the students. Some of these Departments came into existence much before the others and have evolved from simple structures to their present  look.

Each Department has a Head of the Department (HOD) who officiates under the Principal. Faculty members are exclusively attached to these Departments.

The facilities provided at the various Departments include lockers and laboratories which are spacious, well-equipped and modern.
